Motional’s mission is to make driverless vehicles a safe, reliable, and accessible reality. My contribution was working on various aspects of the experience design as well as the hardware components which were produced by Hyundai Motor Co. for the Gen2 (Ioniq 5) platform. I worked with a tight knit team of UX designers and researchers to define the goals and parameters for the Gen3 (PBV) platform which was recently revealed at the 2024 Consumer Electronic Show to be the “SW” EV platform created by KIA.
